It is the third part of the the handbook which looks at the anatomy and proportions of the body .
“…In order to make clothing intelligently it is desirable that we should be acquainted with the leading features of the body we have to clothe, and as there is universal agreement amongst scientists that the human figure is the masterpiece of creation, it is but natural that we should expect to find some traces of design.”
